Can we Do BTST in Options Trading?

Yes, you can do BTST in options trading. The meaning of BTST is Buy Today and Sell Tomorrow.

This is the most common type of trading in stocks but not in futures and options.

Let’s say today is the expiry of your contract in options (call/put), futures, currency, and commodities, in this case, if you buy today and try to sell tomorrow maybe you lost all your capital because tomorrow your contracts will not trade.

So, Yes if your expiry is far away from your buying/selling date you can buy today and sell tomorrow.

In simple words please remember, the expiry is the last day of that contract means from tomorrow you can’t buy or sell that particular contract.

So be aware and trade.
